UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS
Each pod offers a fleshy, supple, and well-greased texture, with a moisture content of 33 to 35%. Ideal for pastry use, the vanilla adds a fragrant and rich flavor to your cakes, creams, and desserts. Originating from Madagascar's island in the Indian Ocean, the vanilla pods are harvested at maturity, scalded, then dried and refined to concentrate the aromas and develop unique flavors. The sun-refining process in the Sambava region, in the northeast of Madagascar, enriches the pods with a bewitching fragrance and a varied aromatic palette, with sweet, cocoa, and balsamic notes. Perfect for creams, ice creams, cakes, and pancakes, to infuse, our vanilla pods also pair well with recipes based on caramel, chocolate, rum, cinnamon, or pepper.
CUSTOM SIZES
We offer pods in two standard sizes: 14/16 cm and 16/18 cm, non-split, to meet the specific needs of each recipe.
By default, the selected vanillas are size 14/16. For larger pods, please select the desired size.
PACKAGING AND PRESERVATION
Our pods are packaged in elegant glass tubes or vacuum bags to preserve their freshness and aroma. Store them in a dry and cool environment for optimal use within 24 months.
