What is the difference between the types of vanilla you offer?

Each vanilla has its own origin, its own terroir, and its own fragrance. Madagascar vanilla is rich and creamy, Tahitian vanilla is floral and aniseed, while Ugandan vanilla is woody and chocolatey. We always specify the specific characteristics of each origin on our product sheets.

Are your products certified organic or fair trade?

We have chosen to opt for strict internal specifications (via our Charter of Excellence), rather than having our products certified by external organizations.
No chemical inputs are used. Our vanilla is grown primarily using agroforestry practices. Finally, we favor short supply chains. Ethical trade is at the heart of our operations, and our partnerships at the source are long-standing.
This way, our partner producers don't have to pay the additional cost of certification, and they benefit more from their work and expertise.

How long do your vanilla beans last?

Stored away from air, light and humidity, a vanilla pod can be stored for up to 3 years without altering its aroma.

How to store vanilla to preserve its quality?

Store it in a glass tube or airtight jar at room temperature. No refrigerator. A glass jar in a cupboard is best!
